New Program Brings Local Produce to Appalachian Ohio Schools

An innovative partnership designed to increase local food access for area school children kicked off Thursday, May 14 with a delivery of 304 servings of local lettuce to Federal Hocking Local Schools followed by another delivery of 160 local lettuce servings to Athens City Schools on Monday, May 19.
